Job Opportunity in Hampshire, ILWe are hiring for a position focused on operating rotomolding machines to manufacture high-quality plastic parts. The operator is responsible for preparing materials and molds, monitoring the production process, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare molds with the correct resin, dye, and weight according to work instructions. Operate rotomolding machines and maintain a continuous production flow. Load and unload molds according to the machine cycle times. Visually inspect each piece to ensure it meets quality standards. Identify and separate defective or out-of-specification products. Perform trimming and deburring of molded parts to achieve a clean finish. Place finished parts in designated carts or containers. Maintain accurate production counts and record quantities manufactured. Perform basic cleaning and care of molds, tools, and equipment. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all safety standards and established manufacturing procedures. Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, pneumatic screwdrivers (screw guns), and other production tools. Collaborate on initiatives to improve process quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Essential Requirements: Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or machinery operation. Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures. Knowledge and safe handling of hand and power tools. Skill in visual inspections and identifying quality defects. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment. Ability to perform accurate counts and maintain basic production records. Commitment to safety and compliance with operational procedures. Availability to work first shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) Monday to Friday.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a machine operator, production worker, or assembler. Knowledge of molding or rotomolding processes. Experience working with molds, tooling, and production equipment. Attention to detail and focus on quality. Experience in clean and organized manufacturing environments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
