About the role

Food Service Worker Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated food service worker to join our team and work with inmates at a correctional facility in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to inmates while ensuring a clean and safe environment in accordance with facility protocols.
Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to specified menus and portion sizes. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas. Follow all safety and security guidelines specific to a correctional facility setting. Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and report shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service. Perform routine cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. Ability to work in a correctional environment following strict safety and security protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass an extensive background check. Will be working weekends as needed. Shift will be 1p-9p.
