About the role
Focusing on the game mode systems of an unannounced project, the remote Senior Gameplay Engineer will build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, collaborate with cross-discipline teams, and provide technical guidance throughout the development process.
Key responsibilities:
Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal Engine 5
Provide technical guidance to teammates on code and content integration with the simulation and network model
Collaborate daily with content creators and the engine team to define and develop essential building blocks for the game
Required qualifications:
Proficiency in writing, debugging, and maintaining code in C++
Experience building designer- and artist-facing systems, components, and tools
Familiarity with development using Unreal Engine
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds
Experience with development across multiple platforms (PC, console) is a plus
