Job Title: Account Manager – Construction Services Company:Location: DFW metro area.Type: Full-Time, Salaried plus bonusReports To: Director of Business Development / COOJob Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Construction Account Manager to build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, production homebuilders, general contractors, and customer homebuilders. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth through existing account expansion, project coordination, and exceptional client service while collaborating closely with estimating, operations, and other teams within. This role is critical for maintaining high client satisfaction and identifying new opportunities within our core markets.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, including regular check-ins, progress updates, and proactive issue resolution.• Identify opportunities for additional concrete services (foundations, flatwork, decorative, site work, etc.) within current client portfolios.• Manage the full account lifecycle: from initial project scoping and estimating support to negotiation, execution, and post-project follow-up.• Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare accurate proposals, scopes of work, and change orders tailored to client needs.• Monitor project performance against client expectations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and addressing any concerns promptly.• Track account metrics including revenue, profitability, client satisfaction (NPS), and retention rates.• Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, RFIs, billing inquiries, and dispute resolution.• Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with contracts, safety standards, and Texas-specific requirements (liens, payment terms, insurance, etc.).• Contribute to business development efforts, including attending industry events, networking, and supporting the sales pipeline in Houston and DFW markets.• Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular forecasting and reporting to leadership.• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in residential and commercial construction. Qualifications & Requirements• 3–7+ years of Account Management, Sales, or Project Management experience in the construction industry (concrete, general contracting, or related trades preferred).• Proven track record of managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high client retention.• Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, bidding, change orders, and project lifecycle.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus.• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word), and construction management software.• Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to travel locally (DFW and occasional Houston).• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
