About the role
Marketing Assistant The Marketing Assistant provides administrative, creative, digital, and operational support to the Marketing and Sales teams. This position assists with the development and execution of marketing initiatives, while also supporting graphic design, content writing, proposal materials, social media, communications, and marketing ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, an excellent writer, and comfortable working across multiple marketing platforms and projects. This role requires someone who can take direction but also work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Proposal and Sales Support Print, ship and track proposals Research and obtain RFP documentation Complete RFI, RFX responses Assist with sales with PPT presentations Help gather company information, project information, photographs, resumes, qualifications, case studies, and other content needed for proposals. Assist with creating graphics, charts, organizational diagrams, project profiles, and other visual content for proposals. Maintain a library of current company information and marketing content including project descriptions, references, and graphics. Assist with researching prospective customers and opportunities. Other duties as needed. Marketing & Communications Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, initiatives, and special projects. Coordinate marketing activities that support company growth, brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement. Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and campaign schedules. Research market trends, competitors, customers, industries, and emerging marketing opportunities. Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and internal organized digital marketing files, templates, photographs, logos, and company assets. Support company events, trade shows, conferences, community activities, and promotional Design & Creative Materials Create and update professional marketing materials, including:Brochures Flyers Presentations One-pagers Company fact sheets Digital advertisements Social media graphics Email graphics Internal communications Event materials Sales collateral Assist with maintaining consistent company branding, fonts, colors, logos, imagery, and messaging. Resize, format, edit, and prepare graphics for print and digital use. Work with the Marketing Manager and Sales team to develop visually compelling materials for presentations and customer meetings. Assist with photography, image selection, photo organization, and basic image editing. Writing & Content Development Write, edit, and proofread marketing and business content for:Website pages Blog articles Social media Email campaigns Newsletters Brochures Company announcements Press releases Sales presentations Customer communications Internal communications Ensure written materials are professional, grammatically correct, consistent, and aligned with company brand standards. Convert technical or operational information into clear, customer-friendly marketing content. Interview internal subject-matter experts and gather information needed to develop marketing content.
