About the role

Position Overview: National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Materials Technology Company, is seeking experienced and quality-driven Level II Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) Technicians to support NDT inspection activities involving structural steel welds and fabricated components. This is a contract position based in Pennsylvania with an expected duration of 12+ months. Position Details

Compensation: Competitive Key Responsibilities● Perform Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) examinations on structural steel welds● Conduct quality-driven NDT inspection activities on fabricated components● Document and report inspection findings in accordance with client specifications and standards● Maintain compliance with ITAR requirements and other regulatory standards Required Qualifications● Certification: Current Level II qualification/certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)● Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience performing Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) examinations● Inspection Experience: Proven experience inspecting structural steel welds Required Documentation Candidates should submit:● Current resume● UT Level II training certification● Certification/qualification records● Classroom training hours documentation● OJT and/or documented inspection experience records
Additional Requirements: ITAR Compliance: ITAR requirements apply. Candidates must be eligible to work on ITAR-controlled projects. Military Veterans Military Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
