About the role
Electronic Technician | US Gulf of Mexico | US-based only Atlas Next Wave is currently recruiting Electronic Technicians to crew a jackup rig being mobilized into the US Gulf of Mexico. We are looking for experienced Electronic Technicians with offshore drilling experience. Relevant land-based experience may also be considered for candidates with strong electronic and instrumentation backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic and electrical equipment onboard the rig. Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic control systems, communication equipment, instrumentation, and related systems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment remains safe and operational. Assist with installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of electronic systems and equipment. Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Follow all company, offshore, and HSE policies and procedures. Work closely with other departments to support safe and efficient rig operations.
Minimum Requirements:
