Job Description: Field Service Engineer Opportunities Job Title: Onsite Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
ØWork closely with and under the supervision of senior service personnel to obtain the necessary skills required for future field service assignments.ØProvide repair and maintenance support on chromatographic and mass spectrometric instruments.ØPerform both hardware and controlling software installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance verification on above mentioned instruments.ØAccurately document and report all problems, solutions, as well as providing improvement recommendations, where applicable.ØAssume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
ØSuccessful candidate must have aptitude to learn how to troubleshoot and solve instrument problems effectively and efficiently, and be able to perform assigned work proficiently.ØA bachelor’s, or advanced degree in analytical chemistry, or other related field with exposure of chromatographic and mass spectrometric instrumentation.ØMust be reliable and able to follow directions.ØEligible to work in the US
Work location: Salt Lake City, UT, occasional travel is required\nCompany
