Description1 39068,38538,37999, First shift 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs with OT as needed on Fri/Sat CC 240006 Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Has good attention to detail Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment. Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. Physical Demand While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 50 pounds. Summary of Position with General Responsibilities: Performs routine assembly production functions including utility operations, and basic inspecting under direct supervision with the help of tools and equipment while working safely and efficiently. Applies basic knowledge and techniques with the help of job aids, standard operating procedures, and product specifications to complete routine task and process requirements. Develops skills in basic tasks, technique and procedures within multiple areas and processes. Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations. Must be able to use basic measuring equipment and tools. Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers, Lead and Supervisor can understand. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
Essential Job Functions: Assembler
- Performs light assembly by following released procedures using tools and equipment.
- Performs changeovers, and setup and completes Required Device History Record (DHR) documentation.
- Must be able to read and understand: assembly instructions, work orders, Bills of Materials, Standard Operation Procedures, and all other documentation used to control our products and processes.
- Expected to provide feedback on production and methods, product design issues, continuously strives to improve product quality and operational efficiency
- Communication with co- workers, Lead and Supervisor.
- Maintains Hour by hour production paperwork, boards or graphs.
- Keep work area clean organized and safe.
- Must be able to use measuring tools and Test equipment.
Basic Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTSQualification:
- Must be able to maintain neat, legible, accurate, and complete documentation, records, and logs.
- Must be able to focus continuous attention to work processes.
- Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
- Must be willing to help in all areas of production.
- Must be able to Stand/sit for long periods of time. Education and/or Experience:
- No manufacturing experience required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and equipment. Occasional reaching, bending , stooping or crouching is required.
Work Environment:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required including but not limited to lab coats, hair / beard covers, shoe covers, gloves, ear protection, eye protection and specialized cleanroom suits and head coverings as required.
- May be using calipers, Microscopes, Go-No Go gauges, Leak tester, Pull tester, and Keyounce.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- No makeup, or jewelry, and some restrictions on clothing.
Training Requirements:
- Training will be determined by the Production Supervisor, and Quality upon hiring.
