About the role

Training The Street (TTS) is seeking part-time instructors to lead global markets training programs at corporate and academic clients throughout North America and Europe. This is an ongoing posting for our talent network; we will review applications continuously to match candidates with opportunities as they open. TTS instructors train finance professionals at the most reputable investment bank, hedge fund, asset management and business school clients throughout the US and the world. Instructors use a comprehensive, holistic approach that combines expert content, innovative technology, and proven pedagogy to engage students in hands-on, practical learning experiences. TTS has the largest bench of full-time instructors with the longest average tenure of its peers; the average instructor has been at TTS for 9 years or more. In this role, you will lead virtual and in-person training sessions, providing insight and expertise to finance professionals along each step of their career journey, from on campus workshops to intern and full-time training to continuing education programs. Responsibilities: Deliver interactive in-person or virtual training programs for the world’s top investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and business schools Work with instructor development coaches to learn TTS content, systems, and delivery best practices Collaborate with client relationship managers to identify and meet client needs Book and manage travel as needed Deliver 15-50 days of training per year with the bulk of deliveries taking place from June-August Opportunities to collaborate on editing and updating training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy Opportunities to develop new course content tailored to client needs Opportunities to contribute to internal and client-facing thought leadership Requirements 2+ years experience within a sales and trading, markets, or investment products group at an investment bank, broker-dealer, hedge fund, asset manager, market-making, or similar firm Direct experience in equities, derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, and/or structured products Ability to train all major asset classes at an introductory/new hire level(with support provided to round out knowledge)Strong understanding of market structure, asset classes, pricing mechanics, and trade lifecycles Comfort with AI tools and their impact and use cases in financial services Excellent interpersonal and group communication skills Team player and active listener Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge; prior teaching experience preferred Experience with Python, derivatives pricing and structuring helpful but not required
