Position SummarySenior Consultant - Technology ResilienceAccelerate your career as a Senior Consultant, Technical Resilience, helping clients strengthen their ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruption. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex transformation initiatives, bring structure to evolving resilience programs, and deliver practical solutions that help organizations operate with greater confidence.Recruiting for this role ends on 12/31/2026Work you'll doAs a Senior Consultant, Technical Resilience on the Strategy, Growth, and Transformation team, you will be responsible for:Supporting the assessment, design, and implementation of technical resilience, business continuity, and operational resilience programsAnalyzing client processes, systems, dependencies, and risks to identify resilience gaps and recommend remediation actionsDeveloping recovery strategies, continuity plans, playbooks, and supporting documentation for critical business and technology functionsFacilitating exercises, testing activities, and stakeholder working sessions to evaluate readiness and improve response capabilitiesCreating project deliverables, status updates, and client presentations that communicate findings, priorities, and implementation plansA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersThe teamThe Strategy, Growth, and Transformation team helps organizations address enterprise challenges through business-led, technology-enabled transformation. The work is collaborative, fast-moving, and focused on delivering practical outcomes for clients across industries.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree4 years of experience in infrastructure or application architecture, with hands-on exposure to both on-premise and cloud technology environments4 years of related experience within consulting or professional servicesFoundational working knowledge across the full infrastructure stack, including compute, network, storage, database, and data protection technologies, with experience assessing enterprise environments to identify risks and gaps that could impact the recoverability of critical business servicesExperience identifying and mapping dependencies across a technology ecosystem to uncover breaking points that could impact the delivery of critical business capabilitiesExperience translating technical findings into solution designs that address gaps in resilience or recoverabilityAbility to engage and facilitate structured discussions with technical client teams to evaluate how a technology landscape against their recovery requirementsBA/BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent demonstrated technical backgroundAbility to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be availablePreferred:Master's degree3+ years designing cyber resilience strategies and recovery architectures aligned to business recovery objectives, including requirement gathering, tool selection, implementation, testing, and operationalizationPrior experience gathering technical requirements, performing gap and technical analysis, developing technical specifications, and architecting solutions at scaleStrong knowledge of on-premise and cloud strategies, with experience designing, implementing, or managing solutions across at least one major public cloud providerPrior experience designing and implementing large-scale solutions or leading infrastructure/datacenter migrationsApplication development or SDLC experience with the ability to understand how applications interact with underlying infrastructure and data flowsOne or more certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional, Member of the Business Continuity Institute, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or Certified Information Security ManagerThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
