About the role

The Business Development Professional will be a part of a sales team that focuses on raising and retaining capital from various Private Wealth Platforms including UBS, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Oppenheimer, LPL, Ameriprise, Kestra and others. This role will be based out of the firm's New York City office (Tuesdays and Thursdays required in office when not traveling).The responsibilities will include and not be limited to: Promote the sale of hedge fund and venture capital funds to private wealth management accounts located in the U.S. (our client will customize the account & territory coverage to the individual).Prospect and meet with financial advisors, presenting investment products at sophisticated levelsActively participate in the creation and implementation of marketing campaignsIdentify investor opportunities and schedule individual meetings accordinglyCandidate QualificationsIdeally 5 -10 years of total work experience, with some or all of that in a hybrid or external sales role selling traditional and/or alternative investment funds to the private wealth channelsStrong knowledge of the financial marketsAbility to travel frequentlyConfident but humbleSelf-motivated, go-getter mentalityExcellent written and presentation skillsIf you have this experience, please also feel free to reach out to paul@hudsongatepartners.com for confidential consideration.
