About the role

Respiratory Care Practitioner IIThe Respiratory Care Practitioner II ("RCP II") is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
Responsibilities: The RCP II must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: adult general care areas (Telemetry and Med-Surge), critical care areas, and emergency room.
Qualifications:
  • Current CA RCP License
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLSCurrent ACLSCurrent PALS (within 90 days of hire)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
