Mail Room Assistant We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Document Processing Associate to support daily mailroom and document-processing operations. This position is primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, profiling, and scanning documents sent to the company in its capacity as a registered agent. The ideal candidate will have some office or mailroom experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a computer-based environment.
Key Responsibilities: Receive documents delivered through various methods, including served, certified, and regular mail. Sort and organize incoming documents according to established procedures. Review and profile documents accurately in the appropriate systems. Scan and upload documents while maintaining quality and completeness. Enter and verify information using computer systems and databases. Maintain accurate records and follow document-handling procedures. Ensure documents are processed in a timely and organized manner. Assist with general office and mailroom duties as needed. Protect the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents. Collaborate with team members and support cross-training opportunities when available.
Qualifications: 13 years of customer service experience is highly preferred. Previous office, administrative, mailroom, or document-processing experience is preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow written procedures and handle repetitive tasks consistently. Dependable, professional, and able to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage documents carefully and maintain confidentiality.
