Location: Flagstaff, AZ 86004 Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: In-Person / Hybrid Options Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 POSITION OVERVIEW Magna Talent is recruiting a Structural Designer (EIT) for a growing structural engineering firm based in Flagstaff, Arizona. We're seeking an EIT with at least 2 years of post-graduate structural engineering experience, ideally in the Southwest or Rocky Mountain region. You'll work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout the United States, with opportunities for advancement toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare structural engineering calculations, designs, and construction drawings. - Work with AutoCAD, RISA, and Revit. - Prepare drawings for review and sealing by licensed Professional Engineers. - Coordinate with project managers, consulting engineers, contractors, and clients. - Review shop drawings and technical documentation. - Guide structural drafters and interns. - Participate in project site visits and inspections. - Support value engineering and practical design solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering. - Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. - Minimum 2 years of post-graduate structural engineering experience. - Experience with structural engineering projects in the Southwest or Rocky Mountain region. - Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Experience using RISA and Revit. - Strong understanding of structural design and drafting principles. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
