About the role
If you are a Tax Manager with supervising and training staff experience, please read on! Located in Irvine, CA - We are recognized in the business community for its unique and innovative method of delivering professional services to its clientele. We are currently looking for a Tax Manager to join our team. This person will need 7+ years' of public accounting experience.
What You Will Be Doing:
Prepares complex tax returns and performs tax research, especially in the area of Trust and Estate
Responds to tax notices from taxing authorities
Reviews tax information supplied by client, will meet with or contact client regarding general or complex tax questions.
Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations.
What You Need for this Position Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master of Tax preferred
Active CPA license
Minimum of 7+ years' of public accounting experience, significant experience and interest in Trust and Estate
CPA required
Proficient in individual, Trust & Estate and partnership taxation and tax planning
Previous experience supervising and training staff and seniors preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be highly motivated and experienced in managing multiple client engagements
Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize accordingly
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Quick Books
