- Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs
- Administer medications within certification and state guidelines
- Prepare patients for provider visits and treatments
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation
- Assist with medication passes and routine clinical duties
- Respond appropriately to urgent medical situations alongside the healthcare team
- Help deliver compassionate, quality healthcare in a safe and secure correctional environment
- Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required
