Cashier Position Established Upper East Side wine and spirits retailer seeks a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented cashier to join our close-knit team. Students are welcome. We are looking for someone who is punctual, organized, friendly, and takes pride in doing things correctly. Accuracy, good judgment, clear communication, and the ability to stay focused during busy periods are essential.
Responsibilities include:
  • Processing transactions accurately
  • Assisting customers in person and by phone
  • Keeping the register area clean and organized
  • Restocking cash register area and supporting general store operations
  • Following procedures and communicating with coworkers
Prior cashier experience is preferred. Wine or liquor store experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Artistic or creative skills, including signage, displays, or illustration, are also welcome. Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required. Pay is based on experience.
