Vice President of Sales | Retirement Plans
Location: Texas | Hybrid, with travel to Grapevine and across the sales territory I’m recruiting a Vice President of Sales for Farmer & Betts, a retirement plan consulting and third-party administration firm. This leader will guide an established sales team, recruit additional consultants, and build the coaching and sales practices needed to support continued growth. The right person understands how retirement plans are designed forsmall and midsize businessesand can use that knowledge in conversations with clients, advisors, and referral partners. They will be equally comfortable earning the trust of experienced producers and helping new hires become productive.
What you’ll do: Lead, coach, and develop the current sales team while recruiting 4–6 additional sales consultants. Build the team toward 10–12 successful consultants over time. Strengthen the sales process, onboarding, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and accountability. Use Hub Spot to improve visibility into opportunities, team activity, and results. Partner with marketing and lead generation resources to improve follow-up and conversion. Develop strategic relationships with wealth management and retirement plan partners.
What we’re looking for: 7+ years of sales leadership experience, including hands‑on coaching and performance management. Experience building or expanding a geographically dispersed sales team. Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored retirement plans, including plan design considerations for small and midsize businesses. Experience selling through relationships with financial advisors, referral partners, or business owners. A consultative approach and the ability to bring structure to a successful existing team without losing its momentum. Comfort using CRM data and sales metrics to manage performance. This is a role for a leader who can bothgrow the team and lead the team already in place.
