About the role

As an EDS Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of defining the "nervous system" for our next-generation electric vehicles. You will be responsible for the end-to-end vehicle-side electrical wire harness design and physical integration, serving as the critical link between architectural theory and vehicle reality. In this role, you will help realize the vision of a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) by optimizing the intersection of electrical connectivity, hardware placement, and mechanical packaging. While your primary focus is the robust physical design and routing of the harness, you will work deeply within the electrical architecture to ensure the system is efficient, manufacturable, and capable of supporting advanced vehicle functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and remain hands‑on during vehicle "bring-up" phases to troubleshoot and validate your designs.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
