About the role

FOIA Support AnalystSavvee Inc. is seeking a motivated FOIA Support Analyst to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will help drive the FOIA and Privacy Act workflow by handling incoming requests, maintaining case files, assisting with searches and document preparation, and drafting correspondence. They will support senior staff to ensure smooth, consistent, and well-documented processing across the program.Essential Functions:Receiving and logging FOIA and Privacy Act requests into the tracking system.Verifying that requests are complete and requesting additional information if needed.Creating and maintaining organized electronic case files.Scanning and converting paper records into electronic format.Assisting with record searches and document compilation.Drafting routine correspondence, i.e. acknowledgment letters and status updates.Performing data entry and daily case updates.Uploading correspondence and documents into the FOIA system.Assisting senior staff with redaction preparation and file organization.Providing general administrative and document management support.Assisting with tracking privacy compliance metrics and documentation.Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.Required Education and Training:Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience and Skills Required:One or more years of general office experience ORFive or more years of general office or administrative experience in lieu of formal education requirementMust have the ability to obtain the client's suitabilityProficiency in Microsoft OfficeProven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA highly motivated self-starterMust be motivated and have excellent customer service skillsEOE Statement: Savvee Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
