About the role
What you’ll do:
Command Native Air’s PC-12 safely and legally under IFR, transporting medical crew and patients within the assigned operational area.
Exercise final authority for aircraft operations, ensuring the safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment at all times.
Conduct thorough preflight planning and risk assessment on short notice, including weather, performance, fuel, and route considerations.
Complete a preflight inspection and sign the Daily Flight Log before every flight; perform full walk-arounds before entry and after each flight.
Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company operating standards, documentation, and reporting requirements.
Coordinate closely with the medical team, ensuring familiarity with the medical interior and systems; understand backup aircraft and medical systems used in the area.
Participate in company meetings, projects, committees, and community outreach as a visible aviation ambassador.
What you’ll bring
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent education/experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certificates: FAA Commercial Single-Engine Land with Instrument Rating (ATP in category satisfies instrument requirement).
Medical: Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
Total Time:2,500 hours total flight time.
In Category:
2,000 hours in category; 1,000 PIC hours in category.
Cross-Country:500 hours (including at least 50 hours at night).
Turbine:500 hours.
Night:100 hours.
Instrument (Actual):100 hours in category.
Currency: Recent flight experience in category within the last 24 months.
Professional standards: Strong CRM, sound judgment, and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
Operational readiness: Ability to meet fitness-for-duty standards and aircraft weight-and-balance limitations.

Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off. This role supports a 24/7 air medical operation.
