About the role
Job Title:
Sales Intelligence & Client Engagement Manager (with background in the staffing industry)
Job Type: Full-time
Location:
Reston, VA (Hybrid) OR Remote (We are open to hiring candidates based in EST, CST, and MST but NOT PST) About ARK:ARK Solutions, Inc. is an established IT staffing and consulting company supporting public- and private-sector clients across the United States. Looking for: ARK Solutions is looking for a thoughtful, highly communicative sales-support leader who enjoys research and is comfortable speaking with business contacts. This person will manage a small India-based research team, turn account intelligence into a practical client-entry strategy, and make targeted calls to DEI, HR, and Procurement contacts at internally managed companies. This is a hands-on role for someone who can research an account, understand how contingent staffing decisions are made, ask good questions, document what was learned, and hand a qualified opportunity to the U.S. client-engagement team.
What you will do:
- Manage the day-to-day work of two India-based Market Intelligence Analysts, including assignments, priorities, turnaround expectations, quality review, and coaching
- Review each account for internal versus MSP-managed staffing, likely program ownership, relevant HR/DEI/Procurement/IT stakeholders, and the most credible route into the organization.
- Use ZoomInfo AI, GTM Studio, LinkedIn, company research, and JobDiva to understand target accounts and identify the right people.
- Call DEI, HR, and Procurement contacts to learn how ARK can enter or develop an internally managed staffing program.
- Identify the right decision-maker, supplier path, timing, current needs, and next step.
- Create clear handoffs for ARK's U.S. client-engagement team.
- Manage and coach two India-based market-intelligence analysts.
- Keep research, calls, follow-ups, and opportunities organized in JobDiva.
- Use discovery conversations to identify the right internal owner—not simply the first person who answers—and document the reasoning and next steps in JobDiva.
- Partner with API on dashboards, activity visibility, quality standards, and process improvement; work with HR and the India Floor Manager on people and local execution matters.
- Continuously improve research templates, call guides, handoff standards, and the use of ZoomInfo AI/GTM Studio based on what produces useful client conversations.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commerce, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in at least one of the following: B2B inside sales, staffing or recruitment, client development, sales support, market intelligence, business research, procurement/vendor research, or sales operations. Experience working in a business-to-business environment; consumer retail, door-to-door sales, residential sales, or general call-center experience alone is not relevant. Hands-on experience using a CRM such as JobDiva, Bullhorn, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar platform. Experience using LinkedIn or LinkedIn Sales Navigator for professional research and contact identification. Experience with ZoomInfo, GTM Studio, Apollo, Lusha, or a comparable contact-intelligence or sales-research platform is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Ability to research companies, identify relevant decision-makers, validate information, organize data, prepare account intelligence, and document activity clearly in a CRM.Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional phone presence, curiosity, maturity, ownership, and persistence.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
