EHS MANAGER

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur team is seeking an EHS MANAGER in Miami. The main role will be to ensure/provide a safe and healthy environment to contractors by ensuring compliance to EHS rules. The Manager must have experience in railway and/or construction.The Manager is responsible for minimizing impacts on the Environment, Protect assets and reduce risks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes.Thisis a long-term renewable project.Title: EHS Manager - MiamiCompensation: Up to $55 per hourLocation: Miami, FloridaShifts: NIGHT SHIFT - 10:00PM to 6:00 AM (may require day meetings or training availability)This EHS Manager will support Project Management in achieving EHS results:Key responsibilities:●Prepare EHS Plan for the project including EHS Risk Register and Training Matrix●Ensure EHS Risk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Project before starting activities●Implement control of contractor and subcontractor process (Qualification, Onboarding, Site Supervision, Monthly performance)●Has full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in immediate high risk to People or EnvironmentEnsure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated, and analysed. Implement a modified work program. Establish and communicate reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidentsPrepare and Implement an EHS Training Plan and Program with the support from HR and a local EHS communication planMonitor in/out time of every member of the teamREQUIREMENTS:Qualifications & Functional Knowledge:· Two to Five years in Environment, Health and Safety (Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in the country of operation)· Experience in railway and/or construction· Good knowledge of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001· Deep Knowledge of local legal requirements· CHST Certification highly recommended· Valid Driver’s LicenseAble to pass a criminal background check, drug test and must be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virusWear Safety Shoes Company DescriptionOur firm focuses on providing custom placements to form a seamless fit for your company and your needs.Pinnacus focuses on customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of service in the industry.
