About the role

COMPANYOur client is a port-to-door third-party logistics provider headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. They move freight across drayage, full truckload, LTL, rail intermodal, expedited, cross-border, warehousing and transloading, and pair that execution with in-house data, technology and BI that give our customers visibility most providers cannot. Summary: The Vice President of Enterprise Sales is responsible for a variety of tasks, including leveraging an established network of C-suite and senior supply chain relationships to open new doors, shortening the sales cycle, and converting those relationships into profitable new business. This is not a traditional enterprise sales role with a long ramp; it calls for a seasoned industry professional whose reputation and experience can deliver meaningful results quickly.
Key Responsibilities: Leverage existing executive relationships to create immediate opportunities. Personally lead enterprise prospecting, discovery and executive-level selling. Identify where the company can first win a portion of a customer's transportation spend, then expand from there. Partner with company leadership, pricing, BI/data and operations to build customized solutions. Pricing is set by the pricing team; this role brings the opportunity and shapes the solution. Stay actively involved through contracting and onboarding, then transition day-to-day execution to the operations team. Grow initial wins into larger multimodal and managed transportation relationships. Comfortable selling multimodal solutions — FTL, LTL, drayage, intermodal and managed transportation. Able to sell a data-, technology- and BI-driven approach rather than competing on freight rate alone. Thrives as a senior individual contributor; does not need to build or manage a large sales organization to be effective. Entrepreneurial — energized by a fast-moving, owner-led company where they have direct access to leadership and can shape the solution for each customer.
Education and Experience: 15–20+ years in transportation, logistics, managed transportation, brokerage, 3PL or related supply chain services. An established, active network of C-suite, VP Supply Chain, VP Transportation, COO, procurement and logistics decision-makers — enough that they can name a meaningful number of executives who would take their call today. A history of personally originating and closing large enterprise accounts. Relationships capable of creating opportunities without relying on cold prospecting. A strong reputation and credibility within the industry. Freedom to pursue those relationships: no non-solicit or non-compete that would block you from working your network.
Compensation: Competitive base salary

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
