About the role
Project SuperintendentThe Project Superintendent is responsible for leading day-to-day field operations for multi-family construction projects in Summit County, supporting the Lakewood office. This role requires a hands-on field leader with commercial General Contractor experience who can oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews while delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Experience working in high-elevation or mountain environments is strongly preferred. Local candidates or those with significant Summit County project experience are highly valued.Duties & ResponsibilitiesField Operations Management Direct and manage all jobsite activities from project start through completionOversee self-perform labor crews and subcontractor workEnsure daily production goals are achieved through coordination with foremen and craftsmenMaintain compliance with project specifications, schedule, and budgetSchedule & Trade Coordination Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings on-siteMonitor trade performance for schedule adherence, safety compliance, and quality controlReview RFI status, manage delays, and coordinate additional work requirementsEnsure subcontractors are working from accurate and up-to-date drawingsProject Oversight & Communication Communicate consistently with the Project Manager and project team regarding issues, changes, or delaysRepresent project leadership in communication with Owners and public entitiesAssist with closeout meetings beginning 30 days prior to project completionDevelop and implement strategies to complete projects on or ahead of schedule and at or under budgetBudget & Production Control Track self-performed work production and maintain alignment with budgetEnforce pre-established field guidelines and operational proceduresSupervision Supervise up to 100 combined employees and subcontractors to meet specific project objectivesQualifications & RequirementsExperience Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General ContractorProven experience managing multi-family or similar large-scale commercial projectsExperience coordinating and scheduling subcontractorsMountain or high-elevation construction experience preferredProject Exposure (Preferred) Industrial / Big-Box / Tilt-UpOfficeEducationRetailAviationMedicalMulti-FamilyFederal / MunicipalHospitality / Hotel / CasinoSports & RecreationParking StructuresTenant Improvements / RenovationsTechnical Skills Experience with construction scheduling software (P6 preferred)Experience with Procore preferredStrong knowledge of field concepts, construction practices, and safety proceduresBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchParental LeavePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysLong-term and Short-term Disability InsuranceSupplemental Insurance
