Job Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION: Plant Manager Trainee – Animal Feed Position Title: Plant Manager Trainee Classification: Exempt, Department: Operations - Reports to: CEO/Owner
Position Summary: Manages company plant operations with emphasis on overall manufacturing processes. Will provide oversight to manufacturing, shipping, receiving, maintenance and quality. Will provide production with planning and procurement support. Provides Business oversight to CEO/Owner. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: oProvides support and direction of production, warehouse, and maintenance team oProvides oversight into business operations. oProvides direct oversight of Plant Food Safety Program oProvides direct support to CEO oBasic computer knowledge oMaintains a clean work environment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: oSelf-Driven is a MUST oAbility to multitask o 5 years manufacturing oBasic math skills oManufacturing Safety Programs oHigh School Diploma or equivalent oUse of Excel and Word oTimely and predictable attendance is a requirement oSchedule can be flexible (with approval) as long as daily duties are met oThe work environment consists of physical conditions typical of a manufacturing plant and manufacturing environment: The job requires attention to detail and forward thinking oAbility to work independently without constant supervision Additional Skill Set (helpful but not required): oFood Safety Experience oEstablishing and maintain inventory levels oShipping and Receiving Experience Ability to commute/relocate: Easley, SC 29640: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
