Each person owns an Individual AI trained on their own life, and the data behind it. That promise is an engineering problem. Each person's knowledge stays theirs, every access is provable, and nothing trains a third-party model. We have held that line since launching in July 2026. Now it has to hold inside U.S. defense networks, under an IL5 authorization. Founded by Rob LoCascio, founder and former CEO of LivePerson. Backed by $10.3M from Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures.
About the role: You will own our DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5) deployment end to end: the app, the infrastructure, and the controls that get it authorized. Our prime contractor and government customers will count on you to get it right.
What you'll do: Stand it up. Deploy and harden Uare.ai in Azure Government. Lock it down. Build access controls and audit logs that trace every read and write. Harden the stack. Ship approved container images and keep them current against STIGs and scans. Secure the data. CAC/PKI login, FIPS-validated encryption, and CUI handling. Get to ATO.Own the security documentation with the prime contractor's compliance team. Keep pace. Ship features across our stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Postgres, Redis, Azure) so both platforms stay in sync.
What we're looking for: U.S. citizenship is required. This role supports U.S. government contracts that require it. Working knowledge of the DoD Cloud Computing SRG, NIST SP 800-53 and 800-171, STIGs, and the RMF / ATO process. Strong with Azure (containers, identity, storage, monitoring), infrastructure as code, and CI/CD in locked-down environments. Able to pass a U.S. government background investigation. An active clearance is a plus. BonusIron Bank / Platform One container pipelines. Shipped AI features. Early-stage or founding-engineer experience. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
