About the role
Partner with FNBO Payment Advisors, Relationship Managers, and internal partners to source, identify, size, and solution in-footprint Commercial Card prospects and customers
Manage assigned accounts after implementation and foster strong customer relationships
Understand customer business needs and identify new, cross-sell, and growth opportunities
Maintain knowledge of FNBO products and services and key vendor and partner offerings
Develop strategies to reduce customer expenses, improve procure-to-pay efficiency, address cash-on-hand and working capital needs, and automate invoicing and payment processes
Identify business opportunities and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Monitor and negotiate contract terms and pricing
Achieve retention, cross-sell, and growth targets
Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and understand customer objectives, strategies, leaders, and stakeholders
Complete sales paperwork and documentation and partner with implementation teams on customer setup, training, and onboarding
Create and execute account plans aligned with customer goals and company objectives
Monitor satisfaction, proactively address risks and issues, improve customer experience, and minimize churn
Collaborate with leadership, Agent Bank partners, Payment Advisors, sales, product development, marketing, and customer servicing
Lead contract negotiations and annual reviews and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Monitor KPIs and account health, prepare account and pipeline reports, and present customer performance and strategic initiatives to leadership
Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations
Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and account management best practices
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Finance, Business, or another related field
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in account management or a related field
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and execute effective business plans
Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
Results-oriented focus on business growth and exceeding targets
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Willingness to travel for customer meetings or team events
Treasury, Global Banking, Merchant, and FinTech experience desired
Knowledge of applicable credit card network rules and regulations desired
Experience working with Salesforce desired
Unrestricted work authorization and no requirement for future sponsorship
