The Opportunity:
Legacy Search Advisors is working with a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Assurance practice. This opportunity is well suited for a public accounting professional who enjoys leading engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring teams but may be interested in a new platform for continued career growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead financial statement audit engagements from planning through completion.
Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact.
Review audit workpapers and financial statements.
Supervise, coach, and develop audit staff and seniors.
Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagement execution and client service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Significant external audit experience within public accounting.
Previous experience supervising audit engagements and staff.
Strong technical accounting, audit, and client relationship skills.
CPA preferred; confirm whether required for the specific opening.
