SharePoint Developer

Location: Atlanta GA

Duration: 1 Year*Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta*US Citizen or GC-Permanent Resident*Tax Clearance Letter, due at the time of submission* (pls review compliance tab for instruction on how the CANDIDATE must obtain this letter)The Share Point Developer will apply current technologies/methods to develop, modify, and maintain Share Point foundation-based application(s). This includes managing the site content, site capabilities and providing daily maintenance of the existing application(s). Participates in the testing process through review, analysis, and implementation. Familiarity with standard Share Point concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work with DOR business stakeholders daily.

Primary Responsibilities: The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other related duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. As a Share Point Developer you will be able to perform the following duties: Working with COTS software that is Share Point based requiring back-end Share Point coding and front-end configurations. Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using Share Point Foundation and front-end application configurations. Troubleshooting software issues. Implementation of Share Point Foundation-based workflows. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Develop proof of concept examples. Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications: 5 + years' experience programming Share Point with Share Point Designer. Other. NET coding (C#, VB. Net) desired.5 + years' experience as a Share Point Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications. Certification(s) in Microsoft Share Point Development. Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables. Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired. Familiarity using Lanteria HR Software is desired. Other Notes: Individuals selected for employment with DOR must clear a criminal background check (includes fingerprinting).Individuals selected for employment with DOR must complete a tax check and remain compliant with Georgia tax obligations. This will be a hybrid work schedule of teleworking and in-office days. Candidate must be local to Atlanta/Metro Atlanta.
