About the Opportunity: A well-established restaurant organization is seeking an experiencedRestaurant Industry Attorneyto join its leadership team in a confidential search. This is an opportunity for an attorney with strongrestaurant, hospitality, franchise, employment, and/or corporate legal experienceto serve as a trusted legal resource to the business and its leadership team. The ideal candidate understands the unique legal and operational challenges of a multi-unit restaurant organization and can provide practical, business-minded counsel in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do: Provide legal guidance on day-to-day restaurant and business operations Advise leadership onemployment and labor matters, including wage and hour, employee relations, and workplace compliance Supportrestaurant leases, real estate, contracts, vendors, and commercial agreements Advise on franchise, licensing, regulatory, and operational matters Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business and restaurant-related agreements Help identify and manage legal and compliance risks across the organization Work closely with operations, human resources, finance, development, and executive leadership Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized legal expertise is required Translate complex legal issues into practical recommendations for business leaders Stay current on legal and regulatory developments affecting the restaurant and hospitality industry What We're Looking ForJ.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Texas Significant legal experience, preferably within therestaurant, hospitality, franchise, retail, or multi-unit operating environment Strong knowledge of employment/labor and general corporate/business law Experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior leadership A practical, solutions-oriented approach rather than a purely academic legal perspective Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operating environment Compensation$225,000–$275,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation and benefits may be available as part of the overall package.
