Across discovery, implementation, training, and ongoing support, OVAI focuses on AI solutions that are secure, easy to use, measurable, and aligned with each client’s real business needs.\nRole Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time remote role focused on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for OVAI’s AI consulting and software solutions. In this position, the Sales Specialist will qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, present tailored solution overviews, and guide prospective clients through the sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals, coordinating product demonstrations with technical team members, and maintaining accurate data in CRM tools. The Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with consulting, engineering, and support teams to ensure smooth handoff of new clients and contribute feedback to improve offerings and messaging. This role also involves nurturing existing relationships, providing follow-up training on solution benefits, and representing OVAI in virtual meetings, events, and industry conversations.\nQualifications\n\n Strong Communication skills for clear presentations, discovery conversations, and written client correspondence.\n Customer Service skills to build trust, respond to inquiries, and support prospective and existing clients professionally.\n Proven Sales skills, including lead qualification, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing new business.\n Experience with Training clients or internal teams on solution value, use cases, and best practices.\n Sales Management or account management experience, including forecasting, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams.\n Familiarity with B2B technology or software solutions; experience in AI, SaaS, or consulting is a plus.\n Comfort working remotely with digital collaboration tools and CRM platforms.\n Ability to work independently, meet performance goals, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n
