About the role

VP of SalesPE-backed B2B SaaS | Remote, US | Confidential search 3 Search is retained on a confidential search for a VP of Sales at a private equity backed software business. The company is profitable, well known in its category, and moving from roughly $50M ARR toward $100M over the next two to three years. The commercial model This is a high-velocity motion. Low five-figure ACV, high deal volume, short cycles, and a lot of inbound. The right person is comfortable running high volume sales: funnel stages, conversion rates, rep-level performance, and where the leaks are. Pipeline comes from two places. Direct demand generation, which is strong and well funded, and a mature partner channel built over many years within the SMB accounting software ecosystem, where the company holds top-tier partner status. A leader who understands how to work both motions, and can build an outbound motion on top will excel. Who we're looking for You are already a VP or SVP of Sales – likely reporting into and ‘hand in hand’ with the CEO/Founder. Most likely you have taken a high-velocity SMB or mid-market SaaS sales organization through a $50M to $100M ARR journey. You are analytical by instinct and live in the funnel data. You can describe your method for running a distributed team, with the metrics that told you it was working, rather than simply asserting that you can do it. Sector background matters less than the motion. Business software of almost any flavor translates. Enterprise field sales, dealer or franchise-style distribution models, and Mar Tech generally do not. Compensation and equity Competitive base and bonus, plus an equity package structured around a defined liquidity event inside two to three years. The sponsor is planning for an exit, and this hire is part of getting the business ready for it. Treat this as an eighteen to twenty-four month sprint with a genuine payout at the end.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
