About the role

The full-time salaried AI Data Engineering Manager will lead the data engineering team, developing and implementing AI-driven data architecture strategies while collaborating with business leads and overseeing staff performance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities: Drive the development and implementation of data engineering architecture leveraging AI to align with company performance objectives Partner with architecture and product teams to enhance data literacy and contribute to the data product strategy Manage staff performance and professional development through coaching, assessment, and mentoring activities
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 7+ years of data engineering/IT/project management experience, including at least 2 years in a management role 4+ years of experience with data integration/ETL tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and AWS 2+ years of experience with AI engineering concepts and tools 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development and database management
