About the role
LingoAce is looking for experienced SAT/ACT Tutors to provide personalized, one-on-one online test preparation for high school students.
We welcome tutors specializing in one or more SAT or ACT subjects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of current exam formats, proven test-prep teaching experience, and the ability to help students improve their performance through targeted instruction and effective test-taking strategies.
Subjects We're Hiring For
Digital SAT: Math, Reading & Writing
Candidates may specialize in one subject or teach multiple subjects.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, personalized 1:1 SAT/ACT tutoring sessions online.
Identify students' strengths and weaknesses and develop targeted learning plans.
Teach exam-specific concepts, question-solving techniques, and test-taking strategies.
Review practice tests, analyze mistakes, and help students improve accuracy and pacing.
Track student progress and adjust instruction to support measurable improvement.
Provide constructive feedback and maintain communication with students and the academic team.
Qualifications: 1–2+ years of SAT/ACT teaching or tutoring experience.
Strong knowledge of the current Digital SAT and/or ACT exam content, question types, and test-taking strategies.
Familiarity with both digital and paper-based ACT formats for ACT instructors.
Proven ability to identify learning gaps and help students improve test performance.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively in an online 1:1 setting.
Reliable, organized, and comfortable using online teaching platforms.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching both SAT and ACT.
Ability to teach multiple test-prep subjects.
Demonstrated success helping students achieve meaningful score improvements.
Teaching Assessment
All candidates will complete a subject-specific assessment and teaching evaluation as part of the selection process.
SAT Tutors: Minimum score of 750/800 on the relevant subject assessment.
ACT Tutors: Must meet the company's subject-specific assessment requirements.
