Warehouse And Material Handling Position Required Skills & Experience What You'll Bring Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material handling environment is a plus. Ability and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Comfortable operating or learning to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Flexible schedule with availability for overtime, weekends, nights, or overnight shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an entire shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 35 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist for extended periods (up to 8 hours).Safely climb ladders and work around elevated areas when required. Wear required PPE and safely use tools and equipment while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Collect, deliver, and organize recycling and material bins throughout the facility. Load, unload, sort, and prepare materials for shipment or transport. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and carts. Build crates, palletize, wrap, and securely move materials. Maintain clean, organized staging areas while following all safety procedures. The expected range for this position is $25-32/hr.
