About the role
Prospecting and acquiring new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers, the full-time Texas Sales Representative will self-originate opportunities using marketing campaigns and networking skills while working in Houston or Dallas, TX.
Key responsibilities
Evaluate customer creditworthiness and gather necessary data for credit risk analysis
Gather consumption data to tailor price proposals based on customer needs and load patterns
Negotiate terms and close transactions while collaborating with key teams for seamless service delivery
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or seven years of relevant experience
Minimum of five years of experience in retail energy sales or effective sales strategy development
Direct sales experience, preferably within the retail energy industry
Strong persuasive communication and negotiation skills for executive-level interactions
Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and learn new products quickly
