Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of agencies and departments within the building to assist staff and visitors as needed. Ability to stay informed about daily meetings and designated conference room usage. Ability to create and manage a centralized calendar for meetings and events. Ability to maintain and regularly update the agency phone directory and contact lists. Ability to replace copier toner and assist with basic troubleshooting as needed. Ability to provide general support to other departments with ad hoc administrative tasks. Ability to answer telephone calls to the main switchboard number in a timely, courteous, and professional fashion. Naturally helpful and can-do attitude. Friendly, professional demeanor and approachable personality. Consistently well-presented and appropriately dressed for a professional environment. Proactive and prepared to represent the department for high-profile visitors. Strong sense of initiative and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
