Carilion Clinic and the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Carilion Children's Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia are seeking Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join their growing team. This established clinic-based, academic practice provides comprehensive Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutritional care services as part of the only tertiary center in southwest Virginia. Physicians will enjoy a blend of clinical care, teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement, alongside a faculty appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Practice Info Clinic-based, academic practice at Carilion Children's Hospital Only tertiary center in southwest Virginia Ambulatory care provided in a new state-of-the-art facility Procedural care provided at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Inpatient consultation services supported by Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Intensivists, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine providers Full-service 92-bed Children's Hospital featuring an 8-bed PICU, a 24-bed inpatient unit, and a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutritional care services Participate in teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement activities Deliver ambulatory care in the clinic facility Perform procedural care of all levels of complexity at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Provide inpatient consultation services for pediatric inpatient units Compensation
Min Starting Salary: $290,000
Max Starting Salary: $366,086 Eligible to participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs
Incentive Pay: Yes, two tier bonus plans
