Job Description: Job Description Quality Lead - Composite Manufacturing
Job Description:
The Quality Lead is responsible for performing quality operations in a composite manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards & customer requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the Quality Management System, part compliance to customer specifications & completing dimensional inspections including FAI's.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily quality operations, inspections & audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 & Nadcap standards.
Provide technical guidance for manufacturing, engineering & purchasing.
Review & approve manufacturing instructions & process documentation.
Interface with customers, suppliers & auditors regarding quality requirements.
Monitor calibration, inspection records & internal audit processes.
Knowledge / Skills Required:
Composite fabrication & process specification understanding.
Proficiency with PCMM-Arm, laser tracker & dimensional inspection tools.
Familiarity with quality system documentation, calibration, internal audits & supplier control.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Program Experience:
- Spatial Analyzer, Catia V5, Net Inspect, Ideagen (Inspection Xpert), iTools.
- ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions preferred).MS Office Suite.
- Industry Standard ProficiencyAS9100Nadcap Composites
- Nadcap Chemical Processing
- Aircraft manufacturers process & material specificationsITARPreferred Experience 5 years in composite manufacturing quality.3 years inspection experience.
- US Citizenship or US Person Status required to apply. This is a full time hourly position with a benefit package including health, dental, vision & life insurance; 401K; paid vacation & sick leave.
