Digital Production DesignerThe Digital Production Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual assets and user experiences across Desert Financial Credit Union's digital properties and deliverables, including the website, email, digital advertising, and other member-facing digital experiences. This role owns digital creative execution and serves as a key contributor to the look, feel, usability, and effectiveness of the credit union's digital presence.This position translates marketing strategy and brand standards into compelling, conversion-focused designs that engage members and prospects at every stage of their journey. It blends creative craft with a digital-first, mobile-first, user-centered performance mindset, ensuring every asset and experience is on-brand, intuitive, and optimized for the channel it lives in.This is a hands-on role responsible for both design production and cross-functional collaboration. The Digital Production Designer ensures that monthly creative deliverables are published on schedule.What you will do here:Digital Design and ProductionDesign and produce digital assets across owned and paid channels, including but not limited to website pages, email templates, digital ads, and online banking adsTranslate campaign briefs, marketing strategy, and brand guidelines into polished, on-brand visual designs that drive engagement and conversionApply UI/UX best practices to design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that improve usability and conversionCreate wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and validate design concepts before productionCreate responsive, mobile-first designs optimized for performance across devices, screen sizes, and email/web rendering environmentsPrepare, optimize, and hand off assets for development and deployment, ensuring proper file formats, specs, and quality across platformsManage digital advertising in online and mobile banking platformsLeverage AI-powered design and productivity tools to scale creative output, improve efficiency, and accelerate speed to market across digital deliverablesUse performance data and analytics to inform creative decisions and strategyCollaboration and Project ExecutionPartner with web developers, lifecycle/marketing automation, designers, content, and channel strategy teams to deliver design assets that are production-ready and technically feasibleCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate user feedback and usability findings into design iterationsManage and organize digital design files and assets within the team's digital asset management and file systemsDesign Systems and Brand ConsistencyBuild and maintain reusable design components, UI patterns, templates, and layouts that support speed to market and brand consistency across digital touchpointsEnsure all creative adheres to brand standards, legal/compliance requirements, and disclosure guidelines for financial services marketingDesign with accessibility in mind, applying inclusive design principles and supporting accessibility standards across digital deliverablesTesting, Optimization, and IterationSupport A/B testing and experimentation by designing creative variants and iterating based on performance data and insightsApply usability testing and user research findings to continuously improve the member experience across digital propertiesStay current on digital design, UI/UX, and accessibility trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to elevate the member experiencePerform other job duties as required.What you will need:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or another related field preferred.Equivalent combination of experience and education required.4+ years of professional design experience, with a focus on digital deliverables (web, email, digital ads) and UI/UX design required.Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required.Portfolio demonstrating strong digital design and UI/UX skills across multiple channels and formats required.Experience designing user-centered digital experiences, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and responsive web/landing page design required.Working knowledge of designing for digital environments, including responsive/mobile-first design and email/web constraints required.Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy, and UI/UX principles required.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment required.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, web, and creative teams required.Experience with prototyping and usability testing tools and methods preferred.Experience designing within a CMS and/or marketing automation platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Optimizely, HubSpot) preferred.Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS as it relates to email and web design preferred.Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices preferred.Experience with motion graphics and/or animation preferred.Understanding of digital marketing and conversion principles, including A/B testing and design optimization preferred.Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services) preferred.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
