Line Technician:
Athens, Georgia AreaA manufacturing operation in the Athens area is seeking motivated, safety-focused Line Technicians to support a 24/7 production environment. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated production equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment to keep lines running efficiently. Perform quality checks and routine inspections to ensure product specifications are met. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist with adjustments and preventive maintenance. Complete production documentation and equipment logs accurately. Support startups, shutdowns, product changeovers, and housekeeping activities. Follow all safety procedures and work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing, industrial, automated production, wood products, or related experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with automated equipment, conveyors, motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, forklifts, or Lean/Continuous Improvement principles is a plus.
