Position Summary: The Environmental Coordinator is responsible for supporting environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, and sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote continuous improvement. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required. Support environmental compliance programs and regulatory reporting. Conduct inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring activities. Assist with waste management, recycling, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs. Maintain environmental records, permits, and training documentation. Conduct employee training in English and Spanish. Investigate environmental concerns and support corrective actions. Assist during regulatory inspections and agency audits. Promote sustainability and waste reduction initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, EHS, or a related field preferred. 1+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial operations preferred. Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance practices. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
Working Conditions: Combination of office and manufacturing floor environments. Ability to work around industrial equipment, noise, and heat. Ability to wear required PPE and routinely walk the facility.
