ASAPPosition Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team on a contract basis to provide coverage during an employee leave of absence. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders while also supporting day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong employee relations experience, business partnership expertise, and the ability to navigate complex HR matters in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities are aligned with strategic HRBP functions including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and leadership coaching.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support organizational objectives. Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution. Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. Guide leaders through organizational changes, restructuring efforts, and change management initiatives. Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, and culture-building efforts. Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify risks and recommend solutions. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Learning & Development teams. Provide guidance on compensation planning, organizational design, and performance review processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Support special HR projects and initiatives as needed during the leave coverage period.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner supporting multiple business units. Strong background in employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development. Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. Experience working in a hybrid and fast-paced environment preferred.
