Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!This job is a member of the Partnership Strategy Team within the Customer Experience Division.What you'll do:Evaluates new loyalty partner opportunities to ensure they are the appropriate strategic fitDefines commercial terms of new partner agreements and models financial impactWorks with Legal, Data Privacy and Security to create and execute partner contractsProject manages the onboarding and implementation of new partnersAssists in the overall strategy to grow and manage existing partnershipsResearches industry trends and competitive landscapes to develop each partner verticalPerforms competitive analyses to build a partner prospect pipelineExecutes performance reporting for Partner MarketingProvides analytic support in planning and execution of strategic growth initiativesAttends, and when applicable, represents American at relevant industry functions to establish and maintain industry contactsWorks on other special projects as assigned, which include cross-utilization within the department or with other departmentsManages vendor invoice reconciliation, validation, and dispute resolution activitiesMonitors vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements, implementing corrective action plans as neededAll you'll need for success:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training (Business Development, Marketing, Sales or loyalty partnerships for a minimum of 1-2 years)Experience building and maintaining business relationshipsExperience developing business goals and growth objectives and ensuring they are metPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency in SQL and utilizing data to create insights for the businessFinancial reporting and ROI modelingExperience developing legal agreementsSkills, Licenses & Certifications:Basic understanding of the airline business and/or loyalty partnershipsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be extremely proficient with Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation developmentSelf-motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently to drive for resultsExcellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detailAbility to function in a high volume, multi-project, and sometimes ambiguous environmentAbility to independently conduct one-on-one meeting negotiations with partner prospectsStrong presentation skillsWhat you'll get:Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Reach 365 destinations on more than 6,800 daily flights across our global networkHealth Benefits: Access to health, dental, prescription and vision benefits on day oneWellness Programs: Tools, resources and support to help you be the best version of yourself401(k) Program: Available upon hire with employer contributions after one yearAdditional Benefits: Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises and moreFrom the team members we hire to the customers we serve, inclusion and diversity are the foundation of the dynamic workforce at American Airlines.
