Manager / Senior Associate, Product Control & Operations 📍 Greenwich, CT | Hybrid 4 Days In OfficeA growing $10B+ alternative investment firm is looking to add a Manager / Senior Associate-level professional to its Product Control & Operations team in Greenwich, CT.This is a hands-on opportunity supporting the investment team across daily P&L, valuations, trade lifecycle, reconciliations, reporting, and operational processes. The role will work closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders while partnering with Operations, Risk, Technology, and other internal teams.
What You’ll Do: Support daily P&L production, review, reporting, and issue resolution Partner directly with Portfolio Managers and investment professionals Investigate and resolve pricing, valuation, trade, and position discrepancies Oversee key Product Control and Middle Office processes Analyze P&L drivers and communicate results to senior stakeholders Support trade lifecycle, reconciliations, valuations, and corporate actions Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, reporting, and workflows Help develop reporting tools, dashboards, and automation Support new products, strategies, portfolios, and business initiatives Take ownership of projects and process enhancements Serve as a senior resource within the team and help drive day-to-day execution
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Product Control, Middle Office, or Investment Operations Experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or similar financial institution Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, reconciliations, valuations, positions, and corporate actions Strong equities product experience required (exposure to credit, derivatives, or other complex products is a huge plus)Strong understanding of P&L, mark-to-market, and valuation concepts Advanced Excel skills; SQL, VBA, Python, or other automation experience is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working directly with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and senior stakeholders Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in improving processes Opportunity Highlights: Growing alternative investment platform with a great reputation in the industry High-visibility role with direct exposure to the investment team Opportunity to take ownership of projects and process improvements Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment 4 days per week in the Greenwich, CT office Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits 50384
