About the role
We're looking for a Tax Associate to join a growing CPA firm and play a key role in serving both business and individual clients. This position is ideal for someone with public accounting experience who enjoys building client relationships, solving tax challenges, and working in a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations
- Assist clients with tax compliance, planning, and year-round tax matters
- Research tax issues and identify practical solutions for clients
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address inquiries
- Support tax engagements from preparation through filing
- Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Experience preparing both individual and business tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
