CNC Grinding Set-up Operator 1st & 2nd Shift I Concord Township, Ohio Put your grinding experience to work. If you've operated Walter, Agathon, Waida, Vollmer, or Ewag grinders, this opportunity could be a great fit. Fives Landis Corp - CITCO Tools is looking for experienced CNC Grinding Set-up Operators at our Concord Township, Ohio facility. We manufacture high-precision diamond cutting and dressing tools used in demanding automotive, aerospace, medical, and other industrial applications. This is a hands-on machining position for someone who understands precision grinding, takes pride in producing quality work, and is comfortable working with tight tolerances.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment. Load and secure workpieces and select appropriate tooling. Monitor the grinding process and make machine or program adjustments as needed. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances. Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy. Make G-code edits when required. Maintain tooling, wheel usage records, and production documentation. Perform routine machine maintenance and replace worn tooling.
What We're Looking For:
Previous CNC machining or grinding experience is preferred. Experience operating Walter, Agathon, Waida, Vollmer, or Ewag grinding equipment is especially valuable. G-code programming experience is a plus. We're looking for someone who can work independently, solve machining problems, and consistently produce precision work. Schedule & Pay 1st Shift- 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 2nd Shift- 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Competitive pay based on experience, plus $2 shift differential for 2nd shift.
