Personal Lines Sales Producer We are seeking a motivated and personable Personal Lines Sales Producer to join our team. In this role, you will help prospective clients find the right insurance coverage with your expertise. You will connect with leads, understand their needs, present coverage options, and turn those conversations into lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities: Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and follow-up with agency-provided leads. Identify clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate auto, home, umbrella, and other personal lines coverage. Gather accurate information, prepare quotes, and present clear coverage and pricing comparisons. Explain policy benefits, limits, deductibles, and exclusions so clients can make informed decisions. Follow up consistently with prospects, address objections, and close sales. Identify opportunities to bundle policies and cross-sell additional coverage. Build relationships with real estate agents, mortgage professionals, and other referral partners. Meet established sales goals while maintaining accurate records of prospect activity and follow-up. Coordinate with the service team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients. Follow carrier underwriting guidelines, agency procedures, and applicable insurance regulations.
Requirements: Strong communication, relationship-building, and sales skills. Previous experience in insurance sales or a related sales role preferred. An active Property and Casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain one before selling insurance. Ability to explain coverage clearly and recommend options based on each client’s needs. Confidence making outbound calls, following up with prospects, and asking for the sale. Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities. Comfort using customer relationship management systems, quoting platforms, and agency software. A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach and a commitment to honest, client-focused sales.
